Question by blue z: How can I use a laptop on a blanket and keep it cool?
My girlfriend uses her new laptop on a blanket. I want to buy her a laptop cooler. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want one that will be effective even if the laptop is resting on her blanket-covered legs.

they have a lot of them that have tiny fans in them and they do help a little but don’t expect much.
even if you just get a lap desk that will keep the heat off of her.
comp usa sells one for like $ 20 on sale. don’t buy a real expensive one as they don’t work much better than the cheap ones.

actually, they sell lapdesks at borders (if you guys have one over there in the mainland since im from hawaii and borders rules here XD) or maybe even barnes and nobles has them. that way she can set it on her lap like a portable desk. theyre only about maybe $ 20-24 for the more fancy ones
Well this may sound stupid but I just got a cutting board about the size of my laptop. It does not really need a cooler just space so the air can circulate. And even the coolers need space but you can get one even at Target but just make sure the blanket does not cover the vents.
Buy her a fish tank full of water, and every time the laptop gets hot, just tell her to dip it in the water. That should solve the problem.
